Leszek Ćwikliński, the founder of maintenance-free traps.

We produce innovative maintenance-free traps and pheromones for forest insects. The history of our company dates back to 2002, when the first prototype of a device compatible with the Theysohn trap for the unattended catching of the bark beetle was created. Throughout all these years of the company’s activity, the ideas that have been created have been turned into products aimed at protecting forests from forest insects.

The launch of production was preceded by nearly 10 years of research. The traps tested in the forests turned out to be so sensational that our idea was coped with an international patent application. Nowadays, over 100,000 pheromone traps are used to catch harmful insects in Poland annually. Inspection of pheromone traps in forests is extremely laborious and time-consuming due to long distances, sometimes also unfavourable terrain and the required frequency of service.

Our maintenance-free traps require little attention. As a result, they contribute to a significant reduction of the financial outlay associated with the progressively higher cost of man-hours (up to 80% less).
